Hard tacos or soft tacos, which do you prefer?

Also, which can you eat more of?
I can put away at least a dozen of either. But, soft tacos just don't impress me. I like the crunch of hard tacos.

Ground meat, hard. Chicken, steak, fish and them, soft.

I'm right there with ya.
And I could eat chips n' salsa all day long, with a few ritas.

Soft tacos in all respects. I finally got fed up with my shells disintegrating after one bite.

I like a hard taco for Taco Tuesdays. You know, ground meat, lettuce, sour cream and cheese and salsa.
But in general I prefer real tacos.

3 Seasoned deer meat, lime juice, pico, avocado chunks, chow chow, sharp cheddar, thin sliced jalapenos and cilantro hard tacos. Then...
3 of the exact same on double corn soft tortilla. Then...
3 of the exact same on flour tortilla. Then...
3 hot tamales with salsa dipping sauce. All washed down with...
3 Modelos with lime and 3 shots of 1800 tequila. Then it's senorita time...or the toilet. Whichever one is closer.

The double decker taco was my favorite at taco hell for a long time.
But I really prefer a soft taco. I hate the way hard shells just fall apart while im eating.

if the hard taco is really fresh, it's hard to beat. if not, it's soft tacos for me.

i posted this last week in the "homemade taco" thread...
Did these for the shop last week and its very easy plus the best part is no more biting into a taco and it falls apart!
black iron skillet 1/3 full @ 350 (favorite oil)
3 lbs. of ground beef or meat of choice, fish is great too
1 package of corn tortillas, 30 count
about 1/4 cup dried oregano
garlic powder
Chili powder
cumin
salt and pepper
bag of shredded lettuce
your go to hot sauce, i like the Pace hot on these
i then prep tomato, onions, hot peppers and avocados.
this will make around 20-25 tacos
time to get started, i only put the meat of half the tortilla (about 1/3 to 1/2 thick)
season them up good
once grease is to temp i drop 4 at a time,
the trick here is to let the oil soften up the tortilla then fold it over
cook for about 3/4 min on each side.
once done i place them in some type of dish upright and add the cheese (mex blend) while still hot.
then time to add your toppings of choice and enjoy

soft but I'm happy to eat both.
ETA: but the soft over the hard shell is awesome as well.

That meat gets cooked before the shell burns up?

I like soft because you can do more with them, enchiladas, quesadillas etc
