The lady at Pimanyolis turned me off a few weeks ago. Walked in ahead of three other tables and they had food down before we got to order. It's been hit or miss for me and I'm gonna stay away a while.

Had a three meat platter with pulled pork, brisket, and ribs w/ gouda mac and cheese grits.

Overall, the pulled pork and brisket were on the dry and bland side. Ribs were by far the best meat out of the three.

The gouda mac was really cheese but once again on the bland side. Cheese grits were cheese grits. Had to put some pepper on them.

For the sauces, there original sweet wasn't bad. The spicy wasn't all that spicy to my standards. Gave you a little hit in the back end going down your throat but that's it. The mustard base to me was the best one. Flavorful and a good kick. The carolina was really just vinegar and red pepper flakes. Couldnt really get much taste out of it besides the vinegar. The Hannah's sauce tasted like and looked like a bland russian dressing sauce.

3 meat w/ a drink was $20.81. Not exactly cheap.

For this price the flavor really needs to be spot on and unique. 3 Meat w/ 2 sides at Podnahs is around $13 total with drink. This might not exactly be apples to apples but its close.

Yea for 21 I would expect a side or two to be included. At least a bread and some Mac and cheese.

I think that price did include 2 sides. $21 might be reasonable if it was enough quantity for me to share with my 2 young boys. I don't get the impression that the portions are large though. I also wouldn't mind paying for high quality brisket (Think: Kreutz/Blacks/Smittys)

If 21 includes 2 sides, 3 meats, and a drink then that is reasonable to me. I would like to see some pictures of portion sizes though. The old BBQ place where the bank is now was pretty good, the moved further down airline by the produce stand for awhile before closing.

I had the two meat meal. Smoked Chicken and Sausage. Both were hot and juicy. Sides were Mac and Pulled Pork and Beans. Came with Texas Toast. $14 plus tax. Also had the Smoked Brisket Chili. Not cheap but I was satisfied. Probably going just have soup for dinner as I'm still full from lunch. Next time I'll probably try a melt with a side and a drink is $9-10.

I had it today. Count me in as one of the one's that really liked it.

I was short changed on my garlic bread. They forgot it. And I wasn't about to go and ask for it on day one.

I met my mom for lunch last week at Pimanyolis. They were busy, but not slammed. Four other tables received their food before we did and arrived after us.

My mom had hot tamales and we shared a sampler platter.

Overall, it took almost 1 hour to receive our food.

The front of the house appeared to be very disorganized. So much in fact, a cook from the back had come out in the dining area and was asking customers what they had ordered.

I won't be in a hurry to return.

Brisket and pork had good bark, but both were a bit dry with not much flavor in the meat.

My daughter had a pulled pork sandwich. The pork was dry and lacked any flavor. It appeared to me that they are going to rely on one of the six sauces they serve.

The ribs, which I did not order, appeared meaty and moist, judging from the guy sitting across from me. I'll probably order them my next go around.

Sides were good

I had the Smoked Gouda Mac. I'll pass on it next time. Lacked flavor. There was nothing "smoked" about this side, except for the name.

Overall, we enjoyed our experience. And we'll be back.

My biggest complaint? The seating. It's awful. And it won't be long before some customer complains about getting a pull in their pants, dress or shirt. The benches should have been sanded down before being stained. It's really that bad.

It's the same owner as Jasmines On The Bayou on Jones Creek.

It just is. It's where they started doing BBQ. Hopefully it continues to improve because I really don't wanna go back to PImanyolis for BBQ. I'd almost rather go to Voodoo again.

Will be trying some Hannah's later in the week.

Because I live within walking distance to Jasmines on the Bayou and have seen that Hannas BBQ trailer next to Moms donuts and his black f-250 pulling it around for a year or better.

I know what's coming most of the time months before this board does. 2 restaurants will be coming to central soon. I have also known what is going into the old Fernado's on Coursey for a while also. Salad Station on Coursey knew about that for months also.
