Hammond recommendations for after graduation

Hello all. My daughter graduates SLU on Saturday. Any recs for good food in Hammond? I usually just go to Mariners and see my friend that owns the place when I'm in town. Thanks

Jacmel Inn is what I'd recommend, but it's been a few years since I've been there.

I know I'll get some kick back but when I graduated from Slu we went to sante fe and it wasn't packed like all the other places. Love the rolls from there

Blackened Brew is good.
All the rec's so far are good, except gnarfest, never heard of that place.

I've been to murphys for lunch it's a buffet with wood paneling and glamour shots of the owners family on the wall
