Thinking about building a small lean to covered with tin to house the propane weber and the kamodo. Would like to have those two inset in a table, and a bar down one side for seating. Anybody on the board tackled this type of thing?

It could be built a lot like a pole barn, which I have built, a screen porch, which I have built or a free standing structure, which I have built.

You need to decide a few things.

How rustic do you want? Are you trying to match the look of your House/Cabin?

Do you intend to build it with Soffits and Fascia boarding?

What kind of roof? Flat/slanted? Gabled/peaked/hip? Gutters or a simple drip line?

Do you have a location picked out? Against a building? Attached to that building? Free Standing away from other structures?

Do you have a floor? Concrete? Pavers? Dirt? Gravel?

Will you add cabinets? What kind of storage do you want?

Do you need electricity?

Do you want lights, an overhead fan?

Do you want seating?

How well ventilated is it?

Post this on the Outdoor Board and you will get 5 pages of responses. Be ready to invite a bunch of them to eat but they will probably build it for you if you do .
