FDB I call on you once again. My wife and i were invited to a superbowl party tomorrow. My wife asked if we cold bring something, instead of the normal dip or something they asked us to bring hot wings.

i need some good recipes and instructions on how to cook them on a BGE. Should i do something more "gourmet" like grilled peach wings or conventional hot wings?

Flay has a really good wing sauce recipe on food network.com......

I usually just grill off the wings and then toss in the sauce and eat with blue cheese.

Recipe

I just grill the wings instead of fry.

Lots of butter and hot sauce. I usually just estimate the amount. May add some honey and Worcester sauce . Just go with the flow

Marinate in hot sauce over night then bring to room temp before grilling. Season with something that isn't overly salty, I use Emeril's Essence. Grill until just about done then cover in Pig Stand and cook til sauce thickens.

You are welcome. It doesn't get any better or easier.

Toss the wings in a little flour. Grill them. Toss them in Franks and butter.

A good easy way I use is to soak your wings in Louisiana Hot Sauce over night or a few hours. Has to be Louisiana Hot Sauce. Then just fry them like normal. Not as spicy as you might think. Awesome flavor.

My sauce is:

Stick of butter
Small bottle of Lea & Perrin's
Large bottle of Crystal or Louisiana hot sauce
Half of small jar minced garlic

Wings are too easy.

Grilled wings are the best. I use Louisiana hot sauce wing sauce. Very underrated. I add garlic, little honey, butter, and maytag blue cheese (if yer feeling rich). Blue cheese melts in w sauce. Very intense but awesome.

Here's what I do:

Setup your BGE to cook indirect using the plate setter.

Smoke (225-250) your wings using the wood of your choice (I prefer pecan) until they reach desired doneness. It's hard to overcook these.

Remove wings from the smoker and set aside. Then remove the plate setter to cook the wings direct (remember that silicone glove I told you to get?).

When BGE ramps up to 350 grilling temp, place wings back on the grill for 5-10 mins turning often. The point of this step is to crisp the skin on the outside.

Melt a stick of butter in a large bowl with anywhere from 1/4-1/2 a cup of Trappey's Hot Sauce. Toss wings in sauce and serve.

Your welcome.

Anchor bar wings. . . Just because they were first, doesn't mean they are the best.

I wasn't impressed.

Scored some Friday at the HiNabor on Drusilla. Be careful though, you'll be crossing a time portal and you'll need to keep your wits about you if you want to get back in one piece.

So my meat place only had drums. Wings were all out.

I cant soak these for overnight obviously, should I still throw them in buffalo sauce or should I do somethign like the spicy peach bbq drums?

I do plain drumsticks the same way as above all the time. Mainly because I'm cheap and so are the drumsticks!

Grill them. Then toss them into the butter/hot sauce mix. Awesome.
