I just had BAO on Perkins. It's was good, but not like the amazing stuff I had in New Orleans at "9 Roses".

Best place in BR for pho?

Dang's. It's a bonus that one of my closest friend's family owns it.

Damn, how many of us baws were at Bao today?

Bao is good not great, but it's relatively close to LSU.

Bao makes very tasty soup base for the pho and noodles, but I find the meat serving size disappointingly anemic.

Little saigon and dangs are 1a and 1b for me.

Viet gardens is ok.

Not really a fan of saigon noodles pho.

Agree. Their vermicelli bowls are very good also.

Never had the pho. Kind of an overrated dish anyway

No one really mentions Dream Berrie Cafe. I used to frequent there quite a bit because of where I lived. I absolutely loathed traveling up and down Sherwood Forest. I don't care how pretty that boulevard is, it needs to go to four lanes and become more efficient, but I digress.

Anyway, Dream Berrie wasn't what I considered the best in town, but it had its proximity going for me, and it's by far the cleanest of all of the Vietnamese restaurants in the city. The food was prepared quite fast too.

I've had Little Saigon. I thought it was good.

I will have to try Dang's.

It's crazy how all those places are in the same vicinity.
