Doubt you get many positive responses.

But I tried City Pork's andouille the other day in a dish and got great reviews on it.

I think the best store bought in the area is French Settlement's sausage. If I'm doing big pot and can't make it to Jacob's, I grab Veron's green onion.

I can't recall whether I've had Bergeron's, but their smoked products have had good flavor otherwise.

How much do you need?

I have a few sticks of Jacob's on Airline and Wayne Jacobs Smokehouse Andouille if you need it.

What a kind offer. I have some too (gift from Trout Bandit) but I'm hoarding it.

if you want the best sausage in Louisiana, simply order it online at teet's in ville platte.

Yep, sorry I got sidetracked. If you can get to Jefferson Highway bocage area in the morning you could drop by my office and pick it up.

Eta: I hope it's not too late.

Had Bergeron's smoked sausage today. Was very good. I also really like their Andouille and its my preferred Andouille to use in my red beans.

Thanks for that info. I think I may have some of the sausage in my freezer and it's possible I could have some of the andouille. My freezers are so packed right now that I can't find things! It's time for the quarterly clean up as soon as the holiday foods clear out. Appreciate your advice on Bergeron's.

While I agree Teet's is the best, it costs a pretty penny to have it shipped to you.

I can certainly do that.

Mucho appreciated. I can freeze this Jerry Lee's and not take a chance on my Christmas gumbo!

I ordered a good many things from Teet's over the past year and I was not as impressed as I hoped I would be. The ham hocks had very little smoked flavor. Same with the sausage. Kartchner's hocks are the best I've had with Bergeron's in second place. Great smoked flavor. Sausage at Kartchner's had better flavor as well, as far as that area of the state.
