I know my post is too late, but Coffee Bean is by far and away the clear winner and answer to your salad question.

Yep...some of their salads are really, really good. The California Club Salad with a cup of tortilla soup...
I will also throw Dempsey's into the mix. Their grilled shrimp salad is good.
