We had some decent ones last week @ kenner seafood. Anyone have any input where we can go sit down and eat some crawfish this afternoon/evening?

Deanies? Harbor? Aren't there some places out in Metairie that I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

You are going to pay more at a sit down and eat place. On a nice day like today I would hit up a fish market and take them thangs to the lakefront, park, etc.

Yesterday at around 430 I tried Bevis (sold out) Rouses (line of 30 people waiting for next batch to come out) Schaffers (sold out) and finally settled at Deanies.

Most were mush and not good.

Side question, some were mush (assumed they had been sitting in water too long) and some had a grayish almost black color to them. What does that come from?

Was just at Tchoupolitoulas Rouse's and they looked and smelled great. Didn't catch a price though.

Rivershack Tavern... one of my favorite hidden gems in Nola. I believe they only sell crawfish on Fridays and Sundays.

Castnet Seafood never runs out.

Ever. They move enough that they'll never sit long enough that they have to worry about dead crawfish. As a result, they don't play around when buying.

Call for a price. (504)244-8446.
