Gonna cook a 1lb ribeye

tonight in cast iron skillet..i want a good medium-medium rare.....how do i make this happen..suggestions appreciated

Oven 500
Heat skillet. 1-1.5 minutes per side in skillet. Place in oven for 5-8 minutes. Take out, place butter on top

I did this and it was great!!! I did use montreal seasoning liberally...i let it get room temp then patted it dry and brushed it with olive oil before seasoning...best steak in a while

make sure you open a window LOL.... last time I used the Iron with a steak it looked like the kitchen was on fire.... but damn the house smelled great for a few days lol.... and the steak turned out awesome nice crust not dry ..... damn I know what Im doing tonight
