Make a gin martini garnished with a cucumber and add a splash of ginger ale for a little sweet kick

Really refreshing

I like to make those with hendrick's gin

I've never made one, but I love a good Ramos gin fizz. I like Hendrick's too, sadly.

Martini - 4 ounces gin, 1 ounce dry vermouth; stir with ice for ~30 seconds, strain into a chilled cocktail glass

Bronx - 2 ounces gin, 1 ounce orange juice, 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth, 1/2 ounce dry vermouth; shake with ice, strain to chilled cocktail glass

Tom Collins - add 2 ounces gin, 1/2 ounce lemon juice, 1 teaspoon sugar to a Collins glass (the tall, skinny kind) with ice; fill with club soda, stir until sugar is dissolved

ETA: Someone mentioned a Ramos gin fizz. IMO, those are only worthwhile if made by someone else, because they require so much work. When made properly, though, it's one of my favorite cocktails.

Well, why not, Otis? You know I love my gin, but I don't vary too much on the drink. Gin, tonic, lots of lime, ice and in a glass. Rinse. Repeat. Rinse. Repeat. ETC...

Have any of you gin fans tried Jack Rudy Small Batch Tonic?

I saw it at Specs recently and I'm thinking about getting a bottle. Wondering how unique it is and whether it's worth it.

The fact that it's a quanine concentrate makes me wonder about it's toxicity

Apparently you only use a half ounce

Hendrick´s is great, also, there´s an Irish or Scotch gin which is good. Label is silver and forest green, name is something wood or forest related. I´ll be back when I recall it´s name.

That sounds good.

My vote is for Ramos gin fizz and an aviator.
