I just started getting into gin and tonic. Hendrixs is what I'm drinking now, really liking it.

He's right. Broker's or New Amsterdam are tasty and inexpensive.

there is a massive difference in your g/t when you drink different gins ...

i prefer citadelle, but bama's abc stores don't sell it ... also got into ransom gin, an old tom style that's aged in bourbon barrels ... lots of lemongrass in it ... tried a gin made in opelika that's very different than most ...

usually drink bombay, though i try different ones every now and then ... do not like cucumbers, so that rules out hendrick's ...

don't like Q tonic ... prefer fever tree but usually drink schweppes ...

I thought I hated gin when all I knew was Tanquerey and Sapphire. As it turns out, I hate tonic and I like good gin. See if you can find Martin Millers, Sipsmith, or East London Liquor Company. I will say Beefeater 24 is pretty good for larger distilleries.

Good, but try Hayman's Old Tom gin and you won't go back. I was a skeptic myself until I tried it.

I like sapphire and tanqueray, boodles and plymouth are also worth a try. Skip the tonic with those two. Dirty martini ftw

Damrak is my go-to. Perfect for a G&T in my opinion.
