I mean, at this point, I'm seriously debating whether or not it is worth the 2 hour trip just to buy some at the brewery.

Why not just call around? Most places quickly tell you whether they have it or not and about how much they have

If you mean Whole Foods in Metairie, your problem is probably your attitude. The guy that handles beer there is about as nice of a guy as you can find.

Yep, I walked out with 3 4 packs on Friday. All I need since ghost is becoming a monthly release.
I hit the same two stores in nola every release and usually don't have an issue.

Its really not that hard to find as long as you call places. I probably called 5 places today, 4 of them told me to try again tomorrow cause thats when they get their shipments, the last told me they had it so I went and picked it up. Took me maybe 5-10 min. If I want more, I'll go to the other places tomorrow.

The beer guy in BR is awesome. I was pulling Envie out of the cooler and he was stocking beer next to me. He asked if I'd had Ghost yet and I replied yeah, it's awesome. He asked if I wanted some. I said hell yeah, and he pulled it out of the back.
Then again, maybe I fit the smelly hippy profile.

Yeah, and when I called Calandro's on Perkins, they told me they expect the shipment later that afternoon. That was 30 min. after I found a post that said they were down the last few four packs. So, frick calling and trusting who you talk to.

picked up about 2 cases around Gonzales and Baton Rouge, just walked in went to customer service and asked about it. Very easy to obtain, not sure what you are all bitch in about.

This is the worst place to call and try to get ghost from. There are a lot of other places in BR that get ghost

You asked to speak to someone in liquor dept or just rolled with the first person that answered the phone?
