It's just an older batch. If it taste fine then enjoy. My parents are right down the road and I might send my mom to go grab some

In double IPA terms it's pretty old. Most breweries say their hoppy beers should be consumed within 90 days for maximum freshness, but with many modern IPAs there are discernable differences much sooner than that.

It doesn't mean it is bad, it just means that it's not going to drink the same way it would have when it was ten days old.

In terms of other styles of beer where freshness isn't as important, no, two months is not that old.

Gotcha. You're just ignorant. Tell you what, hang on to one bottle of what you have and start asking around for someone to break you off one bottle of the new batch. Drink them side by side. Then report back that there's no difference.

No I completely understand the knowledge behind it.

I just saw the down votes and was assuming y'all wouldn't drink a Ghost bc it was 2 months old.

My current batch is from 3/4/16 and it is excellent. But yes, a 10 day old batch is gonna be superior.

This is the FDB. These guys don't drink ghost if it's three weeks old.

Thanks. Too bad the next generation ran it into the ground. Someday you're going to have to let me in on who you are since we go all the way back to fifth grade

I remember you saying that we had the same teacher, but I didn't go to think it was at different times. I graduated Salmen in 2000.

I have several 3/4/16 batch gitm bottles. How long do I have until they aren't what the Brewers intended them to be? How is that batch drinking now? I was told 10-12 weeks and they should still be good.
