Next time you order a margarita at your watering hole you may notice a jump in the cost by a bit. In the lime growing regions of Mexico the drug cartels are taking control of them with amazing consequences. The cases of limes that cost 15 dollars each last year are going for 100 each this year.

The rest of the world doesn't grow limes? Only Mexico?

Think of the effect this'll have on the price of tequila lime chicken at Applebee's.

We're all screwed.

This assumes that your favorite watering hole actually makes real margaritas instead of some HFCS version with artificial flavoring.
