I'd suggest pancakes.

Place is very tourist trappy.... We tried to go to old mill one night 2 hr wait no thanks..... Ate at the place called bullfish grill instead... It was nice and had awesome steaks and corn grits... It has a very contemporary feel and the bar was very nice

Gatlingurg is not a town known for fine dining.
Alamo Steakhouse on East Parkway has steaks and not much else for an Anniversary dinner.
Pigeon Forge may be better
- Old mill might take a reservation
- Bullfish Grill might be your best bet and they will do a reservation.
Edited to add:
I guess I should read the thread. I sound like an echo.
I make it 2 votes for Bullfish in Pigeon Forge.

Hog Wild.
It will be a night to remember, especially if there is a biker thing going on.

Is the apple barn still in pigeon forge? That was pretty decent years ago. Very casual though

The Peddler best steak in town.

Ate there on my honeymoon. Meal was FIFTY DOLLARS. I could not believe I spent FIFTY fricking DOLLARS on a meal. I thought only "rich" people did that.

To OP:
There is a restaurant up there that serves "country ham". Can't miss it. Great place.

I think it is by the place that serves pancakes or maybe the place that has moccasins.

The food there is nothing adventurous. Obviously. But, it is good if you like Southern style home cooking. I'd eat freaking McDonald's every meal for that scenery though. Tennessee is a beautiful state.

The Bullfish is right across the street from our hotel. That sounds like a winner to me. The Peddler also sounds like a great place. Thanks for the help.
