since 1997 we've fried our turkeys, and i couldn't imagine having to choke down a baked turkey....

what y'all do?

For all you people who want the ultimate turkey. Smoke it all day and when it is done, fry it for about 5 minutes. you wont be disappointed.




frick a baked turkey. usually too dry for my craving.

Baked after brining for 24-36 hours. 500 degrees for half an hour then 350 for 2.5 hours with aluminum foil over the breast. I've done it the last 4 Thanksgivings while my cousin brings a fried turkey. Mine wins every time, never any left.
