Freezing Steaks

Had a killer deal on bone in ribeyes this week at the local grocery store. Purchased some and now need to freeze 4 of them.
What is the best way to freeze these bad boys? No access to a food saver machine.

I know this is not helpful, but I have never enjoyed a steak after it was frozen. And I've tried vacu-sealing. It is just one thing I buy fresh. I was tempted a few times with good deals but in the end it just wasn't worth it. If I were you I'd eat ribeyes everyday this week. I could think of worse things.
i saw a show that the best wat to do it was to freeze it on plate for a few hours then wrap them in cellophane and put in zip locks. This prevents the release of the moisture in the steak forming that ice crust you see in ziplocks. I cant find the link right now.

Easier way to get the air out is to submerge the bag in a pot of water.
Close all but corner, submerge in pot and force all the air out, then close off the corner as most of the bag is submerged.

It's like $4. Not as good as a high quality one obviously, but I have used these for years to freeze steaks. They will last 6+ months easily.
