Albasha and Zeeland St. Market are about the only restaurants I miss from my days in Baton Rouge.
I could walk to Zeelands from the house I rented my junior/senior year...those bacon & cheddar hasbrowns could cure a hangover like no other.

NYC UES there was a place called Kebap G when i lived there right on 93 and 2nd avenue. It closed when they started work on the finally operational 2nd avenue subway. A lot of places did because construction didn't allow those small businesses to keep their basements open for food/coolers etc.
Anyway, it was an amazing food spot and I was friends with the owner as I was in there all the time for healthy food quick working that NYC life.
