Does it matter how poboys and sandwiches are layered? To see the lettuce and tomatoes on the bottom under the fish filets is cringe worthy to me.

Anyone else?

I'd send it back because the plate is too small. Can't stand that shite.

I also can't begin my meal until the plate is turned so that the protein is closest to me.

Then the crumbs would fall on my lap instead of my chest.

It is a bush league dress job. Don't get me wrong IWEI, but I'd give a small sigh before inhaling

People who cut up their whole plate of spaghetti into little pieces before eating, I just want to take it away and bring them a jar of Gerbers.

There's a good reason for the lettuce on the bottom on a poboy.

I think it does matter how a sandwich is layered. I want the tastiest stuff in the bottom. Same reason I don't fold pizza, you taste mostly bread.

I can't stand the word "protein" used in place of meat or fish when talking about food. That is annoying as hell and a bunch of trendy bullshite food speak. No offense intended toward you.

You need to fold your pizza with the cheese on the outside then.

I just want people to keep their cold, flavorless hothouse tomatoes away from my otherwise hot dish.

People need to learn how to cut food with one hand and hold a fork in the other.

Example: It makes me cringe when my brother cuts his steak using his right hand, puts the knife down, and then picks up the fork with his right hand to eat said steak.

Use your left hand to cut and right hand to eat.

Depends on where you get your etiquette from. You eat in the European Style (fork in left, knife in right) while your brother uses the American Style (cut, drop, switch, and back). Interestingly enough, the American Style is currently in the process of falling out of favor in America (probably because it's absurd). I made the switch from American to European at some point in my teens and never looked back. As a personal anecdote, I've seen Europeans look at my American friends like they are lunatics for eating with the zig-zag method.

ETA: Actually just found a good article that covers the phenomenon at some length: LINK
