If you're going Friday, throw a sawbuck on Nyquist in the Derby. The owner is always taking action.

Haven't dined there in a while. Check out groupon for a coupon as long as it's not a date.

I remember having a nice duck dish as an entree. Also, they go pretty heavy on garlic. Hope it doesn't bother you.

Report back. Haven't heard much in a while.

I was just there Monday. I had the scallops and they were delicious.

Please. It's the closet restaurant to my house and I've never been there. Seems like it would be a good weekend breakfast option.

If you go on a Saturday, you can have your hair done at Aveda right after breakfast.

Coq au vin & the lamb are my favorites.
An under appreciated restaurant. Enjoy.

I wasn't impressed. The tab can get out of hand quickly too. We went and it was just the two of us with a Groupon and it was an extra $125 on top the goupon.

The entrees just weren't quite right, I did like the apps, and drinks and dessert. It wasn't bad, and if I lived closer I would go again, just not worth the trek for me to return.

So we did get do the groupon (my lady did because she was treating me to dinner)

I got an old fashioned, which was as intensely colored as some tropical fruit drink.

For apps I got the pate and the lady got their soup of the day, which was some sort of eggplant soup. The pate itself was pretty good, the accompaniments seemed like an after thought. I didn't taste the soup but she said it was a little on the lukewarm side.

Entrees were duck for her and lamb for me. Both were okay, but something was just lacking in both(especially considering the lamb was $41)

The bill was $116 which I thought was WAYYYY too high for the meal we were served. It wasn't a bad meal, but certainly not worth anywhere near that price. Also, for most of the meal we were the only diners in the restaurant which was kind of weird.

I don't see myself going back. There are way too many better and less expensive places to eat.

Place has been there like 10 years and I've never known anyone to eat there. I just assumed it was some sort of front.

So many better choices. In the same vein Cote' Sud is SO much better. I haven't even thought about that place for years.

Yea I went once pre Katrina, I think, and that's it. There's much more competition these days so places like this that seem to be clinging to life aren't going to last much longer

Country Flame is still there. We'd go there as teenagers in the 90s because they never carded. Last went a few Yeats ago. Food was good.

Like many, I've been to Flaming Torch once. Not impressed enough to go back.
