I use to go to the"fish house"with my grandparents when I was a kid. They lived in washington parish. Ive never been to one too far from that area. Is that common in other parts of LA?

I mean, Fish houses that were simple buildings with concrete floors. And they had an "all you can eat fried catfish" . It almost has an LA/MS vibe to it

I'm in Washington Parish, still have 3 "fish houses" currently within 20 min driving time.

Get the feeling after this post and the Leatha's post you spent more than a lil time in these parts. You got family here still?

Ya questions make me feel like I know you

Still many around in far east Texas too. Most are more dressed up than concrete floors these days. (But not by much)

Just got to hit Warner's on Thursday or Friday! You don't want any part of that grease by Saturday!

Amirite?
