I have been entertaining friends from Omaha. FBD after cocktails and wine is a Harvest Ale.

LBD is a Backwoods Bastard. First time trying. Really like this. Founders is amazingly solid in all the beers I've had from them.

Yep. Ran into Kim Jong out and about and no beers were had.

FBD is a RyePA homebrew.

ETA: How is that one Coater?
Color looks right.

Speaking of Backwoods Bastard, anyone ever age one of these beers? Thinking I may set one or 2 away for a while.

Yup. I had one a few months ago and it was drinking really nice. That was around 9 months of age. I read somewhere online that 9 months-ish was optimal for that beer and that it really fades after that. That being said, I've had a version that was two years old on draft that was fantastic. I think it's just preference. If I was experimenting I'd probably put back two 4-packs and start sampling at 9 months. Try another one every 3 or 6 months.

I think I have two left. I should probably take my own advice and sample.

FBD - Trinity 45th Parallel Brett IPA. Not enough Brett for a Brett IPA or too much Brett for a regular IPA, I can't figure out which.

I think Trinity's brewing equipment is infected, and they are just rolling with it.
