First beer since Sunday. Just got back home from the hospital. #3 has joined the party. It's a girl, so whole payload was close enough to whole paycheck to celebrate the occasion!

FBD - Fresh Hop Eliot w/Amarillo hops. The first batch of FH Eliot was done with Centennial hops. This one is Amarillo, and is better, IMO. The hop flavor is fantastic. Some fresh hop beers taste mellower than the base beer. Ex Novo's fresh hop really pops.

Thanks. We're pretty pumped. We both wanted a girl and didn't know until she popped out. She has two big brothers to dote on her now. And a smitten daddy.

I posted my FBD before reading the thread. Congratulations, GRT! When someone dies, we pour a beer out. It only makes sense that when a new life comes into the world, that we drink a beer in honor of that new baby.
I will do that now. NBD is a Drunken Master by Melvin Brewing. I guess I should have chosen a more appropriately named beer for this. Sorry, GR, but I'm honoring your new child with Drunken Master and Pork Belly Sliders. Best wishes to you and your family.

Well I'm one to get my kids to call all my good friends aunt and uncle. But I do plan to ask Rouge and Dozer to be co-godfather and List and TheChosenOne to be co-godmother. Ryno to be honorary grandpa, of course.
