I think both are awesome but they didn't strike me as very similar beers. I liked the abrasive but think Pliny is a notch above... a small notch...

But they don't yell at you for trying to go upstairs. So they have that going for them.

I hate it when that happens.

FBD is same as yesterday-Great Lakes Rye of the Tiger IPA. A big shout out to my nephew up in Ohio for hooking us up with the Great Lakes brews.

I do too. LIke I said, that is one of the best "new try" beers I've had in a while.

Speaking of growlers, I got word today from the BXN that a growler of Deep Ellum Dream Crusher DIPA is en route for delivery soon. I will need help with it.

FBD is Red Brick Porter (meh, tastes like a brown)

The beer my mom brought back from Texas for me. I didn't even ask, it's just becoming seared anytime she's outof town.

No idea how old te grainstorm and JK are.

Just 15 minutes...but it would require driving. Ha. I will be driving into the office on Saturday so I might stop by their first. Not that I am in need of beer or anything after my France44 shipment.

FBD is Surly Abrasive. Holy balls this is good. Really similar to Lagunitas Sucks, to me In other words, awesome
in a side by side tasting, sucks was better than abrasive.

And I'm not a big fan of most lagunitas brews. Actually, sucks is the first I thought was better than avg
