TBD Jai Alai......DoubleJack is great. Pliny is great. But FW distributes to Texas so they win.

FBD new lazy magnolia me and the dev ale

Not bad. A little sweet. Very much citra in here. Could use more buttering hops

Eta: this is a strong ale. Didn't realize that. In that case it's pretty good. I thought it was supposed to be An IPA

Wasnt a big fan of Winston's. Found it a bit overpriced and the bartender was a dick. Could of just been the night I went though.

We had a fresh one tonight (courtesy of the Emissary of the FBD BXN) and some of us commented that it is better than Pliny. I like it better than Pliny because of the bright, clean, fresh hops in the nose.

I went with Double Jack over Pliny when we did our head-to-head. Pliny was just too malty for me.

Yes. I've had it head-to-head a few times and I prefer DJ. Both are great beers--just a personal preference.

We picked Pliny when we tried it blind. Think DJ was second with Abrasive third and others trailing.

Everyone's taste buds are all different. I think all in all, we can agree that Pliny, DJ, and Heady are all outstanding beers that I'd love to constantly be stocked in my fridge
