Never been to Memphis for any extended period of time. I passed through a couple times and it seems like a great city.

I was born and raised there, and lived there until I was 27. I may be a bit biased, but I love Memphis. It will always be home.

You live in the boonies? That looks like a nice compound you got over there.

Yeah, they aren't quite as refined as us.

The kids...I hope my kids follow my beer preferences. Although I'm not sure I would want to subsidize future kids beer drinking if he likes the same quality and quantity of beer I enjoy.

Goose Island IPA. I'm at the airport. Not many choices, but it's pretty good.

No, I live in 70808 in a subdivision called University Acres between HIghland Road and Bayou Duplantier. For some reason the cell service near Bayou Duplantier is horrible. I have the same problem at my office which is on the other side of the bayou. AT&T cell service was almost useless at my house. Verizon is much better at my house, but I still lose service at my office sometimes.

I have an acre. There is no substitute for space to give you privacy.

One of my favorite hot weather beers. Can chug it all day without getting too drunk. I also can't lie. I like it with a splash of lime. Sue me.

I'm not opposed to a lime in it either. It does go down easy.

SBD was a Canebrake, another easy drinker

It lured me in to the beer aisle. The Ipswich was next to it and less than $7. Figured I would try it.

Apparently a few FBDers (maybe lurkers) shop at Alexander's because the Ambroise Oatmeal Stout is empty.

FBD - Stone Smoked Porter
Not as smoked as I expected. Lots of bitter chocolate like a stout.
