Granted the Yellow Rose was a few weeks old, but Sticky Hands (for our tastes) was the clear winner.

It is hard to compare those 2 IMO. Of all the stuff Jax has graced us with, the regular Sticky Hands is my favorite and is a top 5 DIPA for me.

FBD is the first Envie I've had in about a year. No funk. It is back.

I'm rolling with the OP.

FBD

Really wish I could've tried batch 4 again, because drinking this one here makes me want to go against my statement of 4 being better. This batch is so damn drinkable. If this is where they kept Ghost Id be thrilled.

I agree. The first glass is gone before you know it and I can pound them. This is a great DIPA, no doubt, but I miss the citrus juiciness from batch 4.

I can see missing the citrus. That was my initial reaction. The good news is those fine people at Parish know how to brew a DIPA, no matter the batch

Hungry, if you'd just put up your $30 and gone to PH instead of ducking into CB&D on Saturday you could have discussed the nuisances of 4 vs 5 with Andrew.

These are good times we are in, where I have a flight with two years of KBS and BCBS in a local establishment and the crowd yawns because most of us have those in our refrigerator at home. A couple of years ago someone might have called BS if I'd said I had all those beers on tap in Baton Rouge. Now if I only still had my sons' college age metabolism.....#beerfattie

If only. I would've had plenty of time while standing in like for some random canebrake variation, apparently. But that t-shirt...

NBD, going around the horn again, but leaving the Sticky Hands for last, since it's like dessert
