NBD is the baby ghost. I'd imagine renaming it would have increased sales what's to lose

Jax brought this up the other day. i don't really get it either but I guess they don't want to deal with it all hassle with getting a new label approved and what not. Plus they get a bump from the people in the know.

Availability is an issue...

I can drive 30 minutes and get their regular stuff, but that's pretty mundane. Their BA stuff doesn't make it this far south.

Red Stripe. Don't hate. It's tasty and balanced.

So what is the verdict on this? I've been pretty much awol from this board over the past months. I had both new Envie and fresh Commotion over Thanksgiving. My take, Commotion blew my mind, great beer. New Envie was good but not on the level of Commotion. Also, anyone else think that Parish should've introduced new Envie as a new IPA and left the old Envie in place?

Love the nose on the new envie, but commotion is a better drinking beer. I feel like Parish beers lose tons of nose and flavor when poured. I've been drinking these Envie out of the bottle and prefer that greatly.

Hey and welcome. If you like drinking it, then good. Even if you are stuck on lagers, there are just so many beers out there with more flavor.

I drank it years ago too. I moved away from lagers pretty quickly when good ales became available.
