the bomb! That is a delicious stout. Amazing On draft. And they sure are proud of that beer.

Prairie makes some great beers, but they are expensive for sure.

They certainly are proud of themselves. I really like their stuff though. I have a few noirs that should be good and ripe soon.

FBD was a Great Divide Fresh Hop pale ale.

SBD was the Tin Roof 5th Anniversary oatmeal pale ale. What can I say? It's better than the Voodoo Bengal one. That's about it.

LBD Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast Brunch Big Blend. Sounds better than it is.

Same old stuff. I had friends in from Omaha last weekend and that was really fun, except for the game itself. I showed them a good time.

FBD - Barley Browns No Hander Lander DIPA. Solid, but not upper tier for BB.

Shelton Brothers tax. I wish they would hook up with a different distributor, I'd think that would lower the price.

Probably late to the party, but I've been seeing pure hoppiness quite a bit. Has this hit the shelves in LA?

Thanks! Figured that but noticed Avenue Pub was tapping something by Alpine tomorrow. Guess I'll have to try it there.

I'll probably just wipe some grease from the chain on my bung hole in anticipation of the full body cavity search on landing.

Late start, gonna have two

1

The barrel quality has more or less fallen out on this one, which has let a lot of other things come out. Some cherry, tobacco, and then some vanilla and chocolate on the finish. But it's this artificial vanilla-esque flavor that I'm not partial to. Actually still a little hot on the finish -- it definitely still warms the throat on the way down, which surprised me. I think this is the ugly pubescent years for this beer, and with some more time it could really blossom. It's not bad, but I preferred it a few months ago.
