FBD is an Envie. Took my test and now I'm waiting on the rain to clear out to visit some job sites. Figured I'd grab a beer and grilled cheese while I wait.

shite, I don't know. Some sort of salvia? The ID portion got rained out, so we only had the design portion.

SBD is another Envie.

I was just over in that area (assuming you are at Chelsea's). Went to City Pork for lunch, no beer for me during the work day though. Bad form for an university employee.

Right? Great grandmother had some outside her house when I was a kid.

FBD- Firestone easy Jack IPA. This coffee shop in California sells them in 32oz draft for only $5! All day every day. They also have firestone double barrel ale, and new Belgium ranger IPA.

And cans don't break. Although they do tend to leak occasionally...

ETA: Will probably start a thread about this, but ciders are getting getting to be big time up here. Whereas you used to see one or two ciders on tap at a taproom, now you see about 20% of the taps are dedicated to ciders. Are y'all seeing that in the places were you live?

Nope. Thats school is a ways out from Portland (in Troutdale) and it has a bad reputation.

Not yet. I don't have a lot of experience with ciders. I had a few shitty ones, i.e. Woodchuck and what have you, when I was first starting out that made me swear off of them. I imagine there's a difference with a really well-crafted one though...right?

I would imagine so, but I don't really know. I'm still at the stage where I'm pissed because people are using perfectly good taps for ciders instead of beers.

Actually, I've had a few really good ciders. I will probably start trying some more of them. They seem to have a fantastic variety here, but the problem is that the places I go to also have great beers, as well. It's tough to go with a cider when you have so many fantastic beers...

Cider is gaining some traction here in Texas. Within the last three years there have been quite a few ciders popping up...Leprechaun, Argus, Austin Eastciders, and Bishop's.

That said, you rarely see more than 1-2 on tap at the same place, but you can find them in bottles pretty easily.

ETA: I've tried a couple from Argus and one was pretty good, but I don't think ciders are my thing.
