FBD- Second Line Red IIPA

Route 47 Red IPA or something. Pretty damn good. Think this is their best beer yet.

The stout they just bottled is their best IMO. I got a bottle to share.

Man, I was going to take a few days off from the beers this week, but Orenco Taphouse just put Imperial IPAs on 11 of their 18 taps. 2 of the remaining 7 taps are Boneyard RPM and Ft George 3-Way. I'm guessing they are having some sort of IPA event going on.

I've not tried 4 or 5 of them, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

ETA: frick it, who am I kidding?

I had it for the first time on Friday and thought the same. It was a good beer and better than anything else I've tried from them.

I doubt it, but it should last a lot longer than a glass growler. No light, and the seal should be tighter.

I googled that a while back. Most places say it will stay good at last a week or 2, but no longer than a month. Obviously though, once you open it you have to drink it all.

Hops will always fade, but stouts will last just like a normal can. Ron opened a 6+ month old crowler yesterday and said it was great. I've got a couple I'm aging for a year and opening in Octoer to see how it holds up.

That No Name beer is a one off that Great Notion brewed. They actually had 3 different one offs the day I went. All were different, and I sent you the best two, IMO. Good stuff.

Great Notion is not going to be a secret for long...

None at all. It poured a really thick head, and it lasted the whole time I was drinking it.

ETA: I routinely open my ghost crowlers at about a month old. Always taste great.
