Since neither one of the boxes I was supposed to get today actually made it into my possession, guess I'll drink a Metry shelf turd.

Commotion with garlic parm
Make Believe we're Saints fans session IPA with honey BBQ
AMT with buffalo
BA Old Mad Joy with bourbon molasses

We all know these beers are good but the pairing were kind of weak. The flavors were very subtle and I would have a hard time picking them out in a blind taste test. The garlic parm was strait butter to the point of disgusting. Didnt think pairing a bourbon beer with a bourbon wings was the best idea either. The wings they use are of good quality but that's about the best thing I can say about WOB. Also it's a tasting, I really don't want to buy 20 wings. Two wings per beer would have been plenty. Props to the Goat Raft folks for being on hand. I know nobody really wants to go to Metairie.

Sbd with a friend of the krewe

3bd a graduation gift from my sister. She chose well.

Pipeworks Crimson Snapper, an imperial IPA brewed with honey and blood orange juice and citra hops. Delicious.

Not the best Hefe I've ever had, but it's above average. Very lemony.
