I just knocked out 3 hours of weeding the beds, which is one of my least favorite yard chores. FBD on the back porch is a Fairhope Goose. This is a great post yard work beer and another fine effort from FBC.

Tell the guys hello for me and ask them how they liked the Ghost and Bloom and Jucifer. I am drinking a bomber of their Goose now. I highly recommend their sour ale called Maverick. It is damn fine.

Will do

I will have to try it before I leave. I know you recommended Hop Hogan. I'll give that a try next. Scenic 98 is pretty solid.

Yes, I like it better than the Causeway IPA.

Maverick is sold in bombers and it is great. The fruit is present but muted and not artificial and it is really tart without being too sour. I really liked it.

I might have to try the vitamin C or Fairhope 51.

2BD is a Hop Hogan from the source. This is very good. It has a good balance of pine and citrus.

Should I give the Causeway IPA a try?

Absolutely! It is distributed in bottles and I drink it when I am down there. It is good too, but I just preferred the Scenic 98. You might like the Causeway more.

Good description. It leans toward the piney hops more that the Juicy beers we've been drinking in LA. Plus, it is fresh.

I prefer the scenic 98 as well. I find it tastier than Causeway. Causeway is pretty good, but scenic 98 is fruitier and more flavorful.

It's a good change of pace. I love the juice being brewed in LA, but Hop Hogan makes me miss some of the stuff that isn't as juicy.
