Patio at The Bulldog is nice. But I like being on a balcony so perhaps Avenue Pub though I think it's officially Garden Dist.

This gets my vote.

The balcony doesn't open until later in the day though.

Magazine on the park side of Napoleon. No draft beer, but cheap drinks, good juke box, ok food, tables outside on the side walk, and a corn hole set up out front some days. Neighborhood spot.

You know what would be an excellent Uptown day drinking spot? Aline St. Beer Garden, only they don't open until 4 and they never have any beer on tap. Their sidewalk setup is great, but they way they run it is not great.

I vote Avenue.

Blind Pelican has the patio during the day whereas Avenue doesn't. I like being outside for day drinking.

I also like Bulldog as it isn't very busy during the day.

I normally hit up the bulldog. I think I'm going to head to blind pelican or avenue pub. No work today, my off days are Monday & Tuesday

Just busting your ballz OP, certain level of jealousy in my comment.

Welcome to NOLA!

I would certainly throw the Rusty Nail in the running for best Outdoor Bar. Their back patio is tops. IMO. Not sure what time they open though. It's in the Warehouse Dist. but right at the dividing line.

Aline St. Beer Garden,

Bottomland, Was that an endorsement or knock?

I've never been and have been wanting to try. Do they really not have any beers on tap?

I know who he is but wouldn't say I know him. Doesn't look like a boxer.

There not gonna make it. I've been a couple times. I get what they are trying to do, but I can't sit there all day with the beer prices. They need to offer some NOLA beers in the can $3 and $2 High Life's. I walked my dog by there last week had 2 beers and spent $22 in about 20 minutes. Only person there.

Place pisses me off, so much potential.

Fat Harry's is right there. Not my favorite place, but they do have outside seating on the Avenue.

Nice spot to live, Mardi Gras is going to be amazing. Easy walking distance places you should check out. Taste is subjective so suck it up and try them all. Tough task, right? I'd try:

Ms Mae's (open 24 hours)
Igors
Brothers III
Le Bon Temps Roule
Henry's
Mayfair Lounge
The Kingpin
