What's everyone throwing on the grill this weekend?
Thinking about smoking some beef ribs. Will be my first attempt so any advice is welcomed!

We're actually doing something different. No grill or BBQ action.
My wife asked what do I want her to cook for me and my first thought is her delicious Hamburger Steak, with homemade Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Corn and Steamed Broccoli.
Can't wait.

Probably a concession stand hot dog.

I don't cook on Father's Day. We usually go out to brunch somewhere. Last year it was the josephine estelle/Ace Hotel.
I do plan to hit Urban South and grab their new releases.

My grandpa is, as always, bbqing for the whole family. He's pushing 80 but he insists on doing it every year. We always offer to grill for him so he can relax on father's day, but he enjoys it so much that we let him roll with it because he wouldn't have it any other way.
He took a nasty spill last year and broke his collar bone and a couple of ribs. He's been slow to recover, but he'll be out there grilling everything you can imagine and drinking a couple of High Life ponies.

Mrs Jabba makes a mean shrimp pasta with butter sauce. I'll be requesting that if we have time to cook. If we have to eat out, we will go somewhere with good fried shrimp.

If it doesn't rain Saturday, I got a brisket in the freezer.
