Rules:

C. Losers are eliminated for good this round.

Again vote for 2/Group

Group A

9-35 have been eliminated. The groups of four allow for more freedom and less complaining about bad draws.

Hard kicking stone out but thinking back, I rarely buy there stuff and haven't been impressed outside of a few special release beers in the past few years (ruination tenth, stone 15the, and green tea IPA). So somewhat of a homer pick but I do drink nola alot more than stone (maybe BC I'm a homer but whatever.

Kicking out Brooklyn and Ommegang was easy for me b

Geez, how do Sierra Nevada and Stone end up in the same bracket? That's two 1-seeds.

Group A
NOLA
Stone

Group B
Ommegang
Saint Arnold

Really hard to vote NOLA out, and they would have easily made my top 2 in Group B. I had to break it down by beer versus Stone and Sierra Nevada. As much as I like NOLA Irish Channel Stout, I'd pick Stone's Imperial Russian Stout and Sierra Nevada's Narwhal over it. Hopitoulas is a good IPA, but Stone and SN make better IPA's. Mechahopzilla is pretty good, but Ruination is better and Hoptimum is equal. NOLA wins the Saison category, as well as the brown ale. Stone's special releases are better than Sierra Nevada's, so they get 1 vote. The homer factor gives NOLA the edge over Sierra Nevada, but it's a tough call.

Group B was easy with Ommegang, then it was a toss up. NOLA and Sierra Nevada would have easily beaten out the other 3. Brooklyn doesn't have enough depth to beat Green Flash and Saint Arnold. Saint Arnold is really top heavy with Endeavour, Pumpkinator and Bishop's Barrel and Green Flash is solid all around, but I'd pick NOLA and Sierra Nevada over both of them in a heartbeat.

Hard to believe I voted Sierra Nevada out. The selection committee sucks!

I know it sucks, but for integrity purposes Im not playing favorites. It sucks I don't have some awesome algorithm for strength of schedule type deals, so I could only use te data at hand which was given to me by the people.
