Abita Oyster Stout

Louisiana beer has come a long way in the past 3 years and 2013 could be a banner year in Louisiana craft brewing.

NOLA is canning Mechahop and ICS.

Parish is releasing their DIPA and farmhouse IPA among other great things.

Hell even Tin Roof is starting to get their shite together and turn things around.

Gnarley Barley was hoping to be able to start brewing this summer. That means it will probably be next winter.

Mudbug got their equipment in last week or the week before. Probably still waiting on permits though.

Chafunkta is now legal though. Voo Ka Ray is a great DIPA. Can't wait to get some of that in bars.

Hopitoulas, but it's not a decisive vote for me. But Hopitoulas anyway.

Although I'll say that I'm not too excited about the second one in the overall IPA category.
