Family King Cake Contest - Verdict is in

12 of us got together to judge the following king cakes -- all cream cheese for like for like. Results were:
1st - Ralph's (Gonzales)
2nd - Donut Hole (LaPlace)
3rd - Butter Krisp (Covington)
4th - Nonna Randazzo's (Covington)
This was NOT unanimous. 1st place votes for Donut Hole and Butter Krisp.
Next up:
LeBlanc's (Zachary)
Manny Randazzo's
And a few others I cannot remember.

To keep all the same, we chose to get just cream cheese filling for each.
I still think Randazzo's (Manny) traditional is best traditional.

Add Alexander's in there. Best of the bunch IMO. Same recipe from Murray's in St Amant I believe.
