We are going in October. Has anyone been this year? Anyone planning on going? Does anyone have a must try favorite food there? Any recs from previous visits? This will be our first time to go during the Fest. This is an all adult trip FYI.

We will be there at the same time!

We are doing the Halloween party as well! We usually go right after Labor Day but wanted to experience the Fatty and Drunkard fest this year. We are counting down the days! Have you been durning the fest before?

yup each food and wine spot has basically a food truck type setup with 3 food choices to choose from. a snack credit can be used here.

got pissed at the resort when i found out they were charging me snack credits for bottle waters even though i made it clear i rather pay the $2.50

Been plenty of times but never during the festival. I'm pumped

Christmas at Disney is the tits so in sure Halloween and the festival will be great. We will be there the 17th through the 20th. Halloween on Sunday night to avoid the Friday crowds.

Been there once. Once. Never again.

I will probably start a thread for the food while we are there. We are doing Teppen Edo, La Hacienda, Marrakesh, Jiko, Chefs Of France, Ohana, and Be Our Guest. Plus the after hours party that Thursday.

Hence the Fatties and Drunkards comment. We EAT when we go. The food is a big reason why we go.

I'm leaving Thursday morning. We've been a few times during Food and Wine Fest and it's by far my favorite time. And I enjoy the Halloween stuff more than Christmas so it's a win/win. One of my favorite things a few years ago was in France. It's French name was Coq au Vin sur Gratin de Macaroni. It was essentially smothered chicken over baked macaroni. It was delicious. Also, the cheese soup at Canada is delicious and is always at their booth.
