Remember in elementary school, they had just a little paper cup of peanut butter mixed with something? I think it may have been honey. Anyone know how to make this?

I've tried just PB and honey, its not it, something is missing or it was not honey.

I sometimes mix peanut butter and vanilla protein powder. Quite tasty for a bite of something sweet yet low carb.

The wife (MHNBPF) was once the Technical Director for the Child Nutrition program for State of Mississippi. She says it was Almond Butter and honey. Schools received lots of Almond Butter and honey from USDA commodity program. Had to use it for something.

Meridian Dog! So glad to see you! I have both of those in the pantry. I think I will try it.

It was definitely peanut butter in LA public schools in the 80s. Honey n peanut butter is what the weekly menu claimed it to be, but I suspected it to be dark Karo syrup, as I didn't like it back then. It always tasted bitter to me.

Pb and powdered sugar.

Too many damn allergic kids to get away with that these days. That stuff was the shite.

this is how you make Reese's peanut butter cups. Though some people add graham cracker crumbs for texture. Delicious.
