I remember some posts in the past about some good spots in bay st louis. I found sycamore house, but not sure if that is the one everyone was raving about.

Blind Tiger, I think its called. Chalkboard menu that changes regularly, really fresh seafood. Old, wooden bar, with an open bay, relaxed type feel.

The place across the street looks cool, but I've never been

sycamore house is pretty good, trapanis is solid, blind tiger for bar food..... have a beer at the blind pirate just up the road.

most importantly.... if Old Cuevas Bistro has opened back up you must go there. they burnt down, but are reopening around the corner from trapanis/across the street from blind tiger.

one other option is driving into the pass and eating at bacchus on the beach. pretty good food there as well.
my ol lady is from there, i lived there for several years as well. Gaston always knows whats going on over there....

Old Cuevas Bistro wasn't open when we walked by on Sunday. They still have the windows papered up. We had lunch at Buttercup. We like the burgers at The Blind Tiger. Trapani's is good.

We had several people recommend Star Fish over the weekend. We will try it soon.

Syc House is great, back patio is the nicest spot in town. You can pretty much see everything there is to offer with the others. Peel and eat shrimp at 200, their bar is great, traps has good stuff, Bouys has a kitchen...try it all, IDK.

I could go into it more, but it gets into specific dishes at each and tastes vary.
