If you had to boil it all down - everything we've learned from cutting-edge modern science as of December 15, 2016 - would that be the 2 most important pieces of advice you could give to someone looking to consume a healthier diet?

I would agree with the water one and my other would be "eat more natural, organic real food" instead of the sugar. They both lead to the same place but I don't mind the sugar if it's in an apple or banana or tomato

Eat less
Move More
Eat things on the outside aisles of the super markets
If the ingredients list in longer than 5 or 6 items it probably isnt good for you

Read labels and eat less high fructose corn syrup products
Ever wonder why blue bell ice cream taste so good...it's loaded with high fructose corn syrup....I eat bryers instead there are about 7 flavors with green labels that are high fructose corn syrup FREE

pretty much...

the simplest thing everyone could so is stop drinking cokes and start drinking water instead. your body (and your teeth) will thank you

i eat what i want and never gain weight and i havent drank a carbonated soda product in probably 25 years. its an easy lifestyle change. that shite is straight up poison

I think the "carbs are bad" mantra is shitty advice, especially if you lift.

I think you can actually even do 1 rule:

Eat and drink real products without artificial additives. It covers both of yours although the sugar 'problem' I think is still an artificial sugar problem. Some people go full no sugars/carbs which is difficult as all veggies have some sugar and fruits are high in them

Not only sugar but rice and pasta which turns to sugar in your body. Eat meat, veggies, eggs and nuts.

I'm healthy....looking, but certainly not healthy inside if I had to take a guess. My thing is that I hardly drink any fluids during the day. I might drink 8oz of water in a given day and maybe a glass or 2 of milk with dinner, and that's all. I'm also addicted to sweets but I'm working on it.

ETA: never had a cup of coffee, don't drink alcohol during the week, slam vodka waters on the weekend

But why say organic? Isnt every apple, banana and tomato organic? Just like poop is organic

I drink milk every week, but never with dinner. I don't think I've ever seen an adult do this. Is this common?

roast & rice/gravy

Is this a thing people do?
