I am going to be in Fort Worth Saturday night staying downtown near the convention center. Anyone have any good food suggestions. My wife and I will have our 16 month old so something that would work with her. Thanks!

This thread might help somewhat.

I think other restaurants away from downtown are not far. Short ride.

I enjoyed Reata a few years ago. Ellerbe's was very good. I can't recall the other places at which I've eaten there. I got every once in a while.

Any of the Tim Love restaurants are good.

I've been to Tim Love's Lonesome Dove Bistro, near the stockyards, twice. Enjoyed it very much. They know how to cook meat, from antelope to lamb to wagyu beef.

Get the elk sausage sliders (and an assortment of other appetizers).

Lots of fun places. Downtown FW is great and clean and safe

Taverna pizzeria is good Italian

West 7th is fun and a minute or two from downtown. Chimys and chuys are two different loud good places to eat and drink

Daddy jacks has good seafood and is fun

Mi Cocina is great tex mex and they also own taco diner down there

Catina Laraedo is a chain but has great drinks and above average food
