I went and tried this place a couple of years ago. Maybe I just didn't read the description correct but the atmosphere was nothing like described.
The turtle soup was delicious.
Overall the food is not worth the driver from BR or rolling through the hood to get there

I ate at the cabin exactly once. I was not impressed with the food. I like the staff though, very creative. I ordered a white Russian there about 15 years ago on a Christmas eve. They didn't have any half and half so they used coffee creamer. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. Good times.

Well Madam I'll tell you Roberto's is in Iberville Parish.
I like it, casual, good fish, good duck and a good rabbit when he does it. Updated wine list and much more consistent than in the past. I give it 3.5 martinis.
Ascension Parish my only vote would be Bernadette's. 4 martinis but have a driver.
