There was a lost GOAT hanging around one of the bars on Richmond last week, but he didn't last long.

Poor fella never had a chance.

Any idea where they are distributing now? Have both kegs and bottles made it to all the Louisiana markets by now, or any sales outside Louisiana you know of? They really did a great (and what seemed quick) job turning it from a few bars in Laffy to what it is now.

I'm totally cool with Parish becoming the next "Louisiana beer" in people's minds outside the state.

I think Bayou Teche has done a good job of this.

Do they distribute in other states? I had no clue...

What's your favorite of theirs? I tried a few when I was in Laffy and like them, but I just never picked them up as a go-to.

And I'll have to start looking for it in Texas. I was just pleased to find a place with more Abita than purple haze (finding restoration & andy gator was a nice find here).

I don't think you will find any LA beers in Texas besides Abita.

They were selling LA31 at the Master last weekend. That's pretty cool.

Bayou teche just recently showed up in houston. Not sure about other cities in texas, but it's got a nice presence in NYC and along the east coast.

Bayou Teche has distribution in Beaumont and Houston markets now. Revelry on Richmond has that Passione beer on draft. Whole Foods in Sugar Land had Acadie on draft a couple weeks ago.

Right now, it's just mostly their regular 6-pack lineup, which is pretty average. However, I did see the crawfish saison beer at Kroger in Rosenberg the other day. That's a pretty legit, easy Spring-time beer.

Looking forward to when they'll get their bombers out here.

True. It's just a homesick / taste of home kinda thing. Austin Beerworks has been a favorite here, but it seems like I see a local(ish) brew I haven't tried (or sometimes even seen) in the freezer every time I go to buy beers. It's almost intimidating to try to get a grasp on the local beer scene in Austin.

And yeah, I hope Parish covers Louisiana first. My Shreveport buddies would appreciate it, I'm sure. I do like their Graft Raft (?) pretty good though.
