I have my eye on one and am really close to pulling the trigger. These look legit.

I mean how long does it take you to drink a growler? Doesn't seem worth it but I guess it's cool looking.

There is no way it makes beer any better?

Why do people keep trying to fix something that's not broke?

I have 5 or 6 growlers I hardly ever use as it is.

In a glass growler, you lose carbonation after the first time you open it, and although the beer will still taste okay and similar upon subsequent drinks, it loses a little bit of its greatness each time you use the growler. This at least gives you the freshest beer each time if you get a growler and drink it over the course of say...a few days

I have the 5 gallon version. It cost about the same.

Yeah if you are going to make it last a few days i can see getting one, but beer doesn't last that long in my fridge.

I mostly get a growler when I am looking to share.

My wife got me one for Christmas, have actually never used it.

Like others have said, drink it too quick so I just usually get the glass one filled

Can give an example where this type of device is useful. Got a $50 Chistmas bomb in a Growler. Maybe it's just me but I can't kill that in one day, This is when for me something like this works.

It's cool, but just drink faster.

Not to derail, but how available are crowlers by everyone? A bar in my neighborhood does $12 crowler fills (bar price is usually $8-$10 / pint). You get all the benefit of a growler and nearly none of the bad. Hopefully they will become more common so contraptions like this won't be needed.
