It's not that it repulses me, I just don't crave it. The fried chicken at supermarket delis have zero appeal to me. I can't recall ever voluntarily going into a fried chicken place. I've had Popeye's exactly three times in my life, all while stranded at work with nothing to eat while the company picks up fried chicken take out. From those three times, I've thrown up twice, not because the food is bad, it's just too greasy for my system. If something fried is the first thing I eat on an empty stomach, I lose my appetite. It's not a mental thing and I can see how people would love it, it's just not my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong, I love chicken.

I know people who don't eat it because they're vegetarians, I know people who won't eat it because it's unhealthy, but I don't know a single soul who doesn't love the taste. Even vegans secretly love it.

My wife doesn't care for it. She may eat it once a year, usually because we are somewhere that it's the only option.

Tastes good, but have never ordered it when I had other options.

My husband has always professed not to like fried chicken, but in his old age he picks up Cane's for lunch from time to time.

I don't know anyone that doesn't LIKE fried chicken. They may prefer it cooked other ways or not eat it for health reasons but they all think it tastes good.

I very rarely eat it now. When I was little, my mom cooked it all the time and now I just don't care to eat it. I guess I burned out on it.
