Going to spend a couple of nights in New Orleans with my in-laws. Looking for a place we can get a good meal and enjoy ourselves.

7 adults
4 kids (6,4,2,1.5)
Budget is irrelevant since its the father in laws money
Staying right next to Harrah's

I was thinking a private room maybe? Any suggestions would be a big help.

Grand Isle restaurant is right next to Harrah's and pretty damned good for a casual meal with kids.

Frick Deanie's...R&O's is way better.

To answer your question, try Gordon Biersch. They'll take reservations for big parties.

You may also want to consider Domenica, which is just down the road. They have pizzas which kids love plus other things for the adults.
