Went to La Famiglia (the original one, I believe). Solid Italian. Girlfriend got the grouper in some type of lemon caper (very good) and I got the eggplant parmigiana that was stuffed with this cheesy spinach stuff. Not overly expensive at all...got 2 glasses of wine and after tip it was $84.

I love it, it is solid Italian food at an affordable price.

Probably the worst meal I've eaten in a long time. From appetizer to dessert, simply bad.

Anyone else had experience with Marlin Grill? Been a few times, fish dishes ok, steaks were terrible. But they do have A great creamed spinach, and a Tasso Mac and cheese that is good. Overall disappointing experience.

Drive to seaside and have lunch at the top of Bud and Alley's before you leave

Bistro Bijoux is actually a good upscale place. Graffiti is casual and is OK. There used to be another serviceable place called Poppies, but I think it's closed. Wasn't that good anyway but was decent place to take the kids. We haven't ventured in to destin in a few years, so I'm not entirely sure. We park our happy asses out on 30A for the week and stay away from the crowds.
